The Saarthi GreenTech Knox Series Hydrogen Fuel System stands out as a paradigm of superior engineering and meticulous design. However, Saarthi GreenTech has factored in the practical constraints of long-haul drives, where the supply of distilled water might not always be readily available. Thus, the water tanks in Saarthi GreenTech systems have been designed to offer up to three days’ worth of water for daily operations extending to 16 hours. For shorter durations, the tank could last for up to a week, ensuring a generous water reserve within a compact system.
Alongside the water tank, a scrubber is included in the design to clean the hydrogen gas before it’s directed to the air intake. The scrubber’s function generates steam during the bubbling action with warm gas, leading to a gradual reduction in water levels. However, Saarthi GreenTech’s integrated design approach ensures that both the main tank and the scrubber can be refilled simultaneously, manually or through an auxiliary tank set to launch in early 2024.
